Graphics: 5 And the claim that Colecovision has arcade-quality graphics ends... now.
Sound: 2 Oh come on. This is a feeble attempt at making generic sound effects.
Playability: 6 Just turn the joystick 45 degrees clockwise and... ahh, there we go. The official Q-Bert arcade control panel.
Concept: 8 Port a popular arcade game to the most powerful home console available? Sounds good to me.
Retro Value: 9 It's Q-Bert. You do the math. Of course, Q-Bert was never a very good game to begin with...
Overall: 6 Boo. This is quite possibly the most overrated video game ever. Why did it ever get so popular? Is it the name? The fact that the title character spurts expletives in some sort of alien tongue? Well it certainly wasn't the gameplay. Light up all the cubes my foot.

Graphics: 1 I see Q-Bert on "Starcade" on G4... and I'm really disappointed on how the graphics look. Q-Bert's detail has been crushed by a giant rock. And Coily looks like... a spring...
Sound: 1 The are a total of 3 in-game sound effects... boo!
Playability: -11 The controls are so clumsy and unforgiving... don't believe me? You didn't think we gave elevens... you're right, we don't.
Concept: 8 Have a potty-mouth jump and cubes... sounds like Conquer to me...
Retro Value: 1 UH... I'll play Q-Bert II...
Overall: 2 If not for the control... this game might actually make it to a garage sale.
