Lady Bug

You play as a Lady Bug and eat "seeds" and fruits while dodging other bugs. Yet another Pac-Man clone... for shame.

Ironhawk's Review

Graphics:  9       Easy to read game board and score display.  And a whopping Five moving sprites onscreen at once!  Take that, Dynasty Warriors!

Sound: 8            Doesn't sound much like a ladybug, but the eggplant sounds are spot-on.  Some of the best music clips of any Coleco game.

Playability: 6       Sticky control.  The enemies' AI never progresses, they just get faster.  You will not beat level 13.

Retro Value: 9   If you have a Colecovision, you have to have this game.

Concept: 3        Pac-Man with a twist: collectables!

Overall: 9          As far as Colecovision goes, you can't get much better.

Graphics: 8     It's Colecovision, so compared to today's standards, you can't expect much.

Sound:  9    There are very few sounds... and it's GREAT! I hate the kind of games that have high pitched "bleeps" just for the heck of it.

Playability: 10    Standard maze game control. The joystick on the Colecovision makes it easy to maneuver your way through all those doors at      warp speed!

Retro Value: 7    This game will always have a special place in my heart. Even when I kill bugs.

Concept: 2    CLONE ALERT!!! CLONE ALERT!!!

Overall: 8    The game never gets old, it plays well, and there's cucumbers in it! Why wouldn't anyone want to play this game?
