Ever wonder why there have been typing games on console system. We haven't. All we at The Learning Company know is this, Mavis Beacon's ever ugliflying mug-shot hasn't graced the cover of a Next-Gen console yet. That's why we're released Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing CS on your Playstation 2 and Xbox systems.

You start the game a lowly janitor, with dreams of working in that corner office. So you spend nights after work typing. But there are many dangers in typing... there are demons, rival typing programs, and "You Talk and it Types for You" software that can hinder your progress. Team up with a buddy and go though the game in tag team co-op mode.

Using the special Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing CS keyboard (Sold Separately) you get to increase your WPMs (That's words per minute you know) or you could use the special keyboard on your GBA using the Cube-Connection cable.

At Sega, they wanted Online Play to be the main focus. See who's WPM's are faster in a game of wits. But don't just focus on speed... you AWPM are counted too. So don't make any mistakes.

If you make it all the way to the end of the single player game. You get to take on Mavis Beacon herself! She'll even try to distract you with lame classical music tracks. But don't give up!

And what's the CS in the name about? Well my friends, you can take your GCN or PS2 memory cards to the arcade and get new music tracks and backdrops for multiplayer matches. Or you can hack into the arcades using Xbox Live.

So as you can see, this is a typing game beyond all other typing games. It's educational, it's entertainment, it's FUN! It's Edufuntainment yo!
