It's been another earth month, this past month, so we have a new redesign of the site. This one's by Nightowl. We also have countless updates (eight), including four new reviews, and a new question in the FAQ. Also, I cleaned out my AOL inbox, so now I'm at this address. So don't send anything to the old place anymore.

Sorry again for the delay... Ironhawk... that dude is just a little crazy and lazy (A rhyme!) Anyway, we have a couple of new reviews for NES. A new Tournament announcement. And two new features, "Games that Never Made It" and "Game Spotlight." What are they? You'll just need to look for yourself hotshot.

Well, Ironhawk is through being lazy, so we have updates. Hyperlinks for non java-enabled browsers, and two, nay four new reviews for the NES. More updates are forthcoming with less of a delay. And we'll probably put up some sort of logo in the upper-left corner. This thing's a composition nightmare. Page... too... sparse. Inner... graphic designer... slowly... suffering. Also, the weekly R.I.C.E. Versus movie has outgrown the confines of limited server space and has become a newsletter exclusive. Or should I say "X-Clusive". I shouldn't. Anyway, this allows us to put up more videos of overlooked games to improve our Retro Reviews section.

Okay! We got a new SNES review for your enjoyment. As well as a contest! R.I.C.E. Vs. Online! Click on the link for details on this new event. We also got a new RICE Versus clip. Street Fighter Alpha 3! So stop-look-listen- and go for broke! And remember, you can sign up for the newsletter by clicking on the FAQ's button. And we're still waiting for a good icon... so give us one.

Looks like it's time for me to write the update notice again. So... Big Updates! The File of the Month is gone. It had a good run, but like all things, it had to be killed to make room for progress. In its place is RICE Versus, a weekly event created by Nightowl. There is a link above. Also, we took down a few of the reviews due to... reasons. Anyway, suffice it to say that our new policy is to play the games for long enough that we can give them fair reviews. More reviews are coming, so as always, stay tuned. And, one more thing, our favicon (that R-thing that's sitting in your address bar right now) is okay, but if you think you can knock it up to 'moderately cool' or even 'super-awesome', then send me a 16x16 bitmap to replace it. Hurry though, this site gets an average of one million hits per what-have-you, so someone else may read this and decide to make one too. In fact, somebody else is downloading one of these icon programs right now and spinning off a masterpiece. Anyway, we'll have updates tomorrow.

Huzzah! Welcome to the start of a new secular calendar year. Celebrate your heads off, it only changes from December to January once every 12 moons. And then make some New Year's resolutions. Yeah, that really makes sense. Anyway, we have a boatload more reviews, and a new look for the site. Good? No? Send an email. If you just got here and you want to see what the old look was, click here. We still have events coming, but thanks to the Show us your Arsenal contest our server space is kind of limited. (Just judge the videos, people, it's been an entire month. We want to put up new stuff.) So have a good stay at the Realm of the Iron Cloud Empire, and we sincerely wish you a happy calendar year.

Okay! Update time! The newsletter is going strong. Remember, newsletter=extra content. We have 2 new NES and 2 new SNES reviews. And if you have any questions at all, e-mail me or Ironhawk. And the File of the Month will be back up and running soon. Lastly, the "Lady Bug" movie has been removed because we have a better game movie coming within the next week.

We've just started making the site a few days ago. It's coming along smoothly. If anyone has pictures of games and what not.
